Course Descripton

In this class you will learn about a variety of printmaking tools, materials and techniques. We will discuss design principles for one color, multi-block and reduction print blocks. You will have the opportunity to use a variety of carving tools on rubber, linoleum and wood as well as to try both water based and oil based printing inks on a range of printmaking papers. We will print by hand using barrons and wooden spoons.
